Food Assistance

Description of service/program:

Provides food assistance designed to raise nutritional levels, expand buying power, and safeguard the health and well-being of low-income families.

Service limitations (income, geographic, hours, etc):

Individuals and families may qualify if the household income is under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. 

Households are categorically eligible/automatically qualify if they are receiving SSI, OWF, or PRC services.

Workers who have been laid off MUST apply for unemployment before applying for food benefits.
