Anti-Human Trafficking
Description of service/program:
24/7 Crisis Intervention:
24-hour hotline available for emotional support, crisis intervention, and safety planning for survivors of trafficking, as well as others in the community seeking information on human trafficking.
Hospital Advocacy:
24/7 hospital accompaniment to provide emotional support and crisis intervention during a forensic medical exam.
Specialized Trauma Therapy:
Individual therapy services for youth (ages 5-17) and adults, as well as a specialized support group for survivors of human trafficking.
Follow-Up Advocacy and After-Care Services:
Advocacy during police interviews, court hearings, and to support survivors through a trafficking situation
Safe housing at Hope & Healing’s shelters in Akron and Medina:
- Comprehensive case management services as part of the Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (TVAP)
- Referrals for long-term safe housing and support services
- Professional Training
